Gordon Fee, in his commentary on 1 Corinthians (3:18) says . . .

“In the cross and resurrection of Christ, God has “befooled” wisdom.  Everything is end for end: wisdom is folly, folly is wisdom; weakness is power; leaders are servants; God’s people are nobodies, yet possess all things.”

Take some time to meditate on 1 Corinthians 3:18-23.  It turns out to be a profound summation of the first 3 chapters of 1 Corinthians.
